Why is the setting of the UST-30LC area not reflected?

Even if I set the area of UST-30LC and write it, it is not reflected even if I check it in monitor mode. Why?

The UST-30LC has two functions, a data output type and an area configuration type. Since the sensor setting may be data output (LX mode), change it to the area configuration (LA mode 1/2). Refer to the user's manual for how to change the sensor settings.
