Optical Data Transmission Device
About proper use of operation mode (EWF)
There are normal mode, master mode, and slave mode. How should I use the operation mode properly?
In normal mode, even if the optical communication is blocked, the link is not disconnected, only the signal is blocked. In master and slave mode, when optical communication is blocked, the link is automatically disconnected, so in case of using an industrial open network, it is possible to notify the master station of the link disconnection. When using an industrial open network, set the master station to master mode and the slave station to slave mode.
