DIN standards related to counters
What is the DIN standard?
Originally it means German industrial standard (equivalent to Japanese JIS), but since it became the source of many international standards in automobiles, it may be intended as a standard in the automobile industry.
DIN standard related to counters
According to the German Industrial Standard (DIN 75490), size standards and units are set for in-vehicle devices (car radios). The following two are mainly used.
"Single DIN" (1DIN): Width 180 mm x Height 50 mm
"Double DIN" (2DIN): Width 180 mm x Height 100 mm
